Services
Everything the lift needs, from one company and one crew.
Complete lifting solutions
One call covers the whole lift
We take care of the people, equipment, planning and transportation a lift takes, without you having to coordinate several different contractors. One call to JTM and we will help figure out what it takes to get the job done.

Service 01
Crane Rental
Operated crane rental from a 2,000 lb spyder to a 350 ton all terrain, by the hour, the day or the length of the job.
Every crane leaves our yard with a qualified operator on it. You tell us the load, the radius and what the site looks like, and we bring the machine that suits the pick rather than the machine that happens to be free.
Short term work, taxi crane picks, and long term jobsite rentals are all handled the same way: someone who understands the lift looks at it before the crane is dispatched.
- Operated rental, hourly to long term
- Spyder, derrick, rough terrain, all terrain and tower
- Machine sized to the load and radius
- Site reviewed before dispatch

Service 02
Machinery Moving
Taking production equipment out, in and across a plant, including the rigging, skating and setting that happens after the crane puts it on the floor.
Machinery moving rarely ends where the crane stops. Equipment has to come off the truck, through a door, across a floor and onto its pads, often in a live plant with a shutdown window that will not move.
We plan the move as one continuous operation: crane, rigging, transport and placement, with the floor loading and access route worked out before anything leaves the ground.
- Plant relocations and equipment installs
- Rigging, skating and final placement
- Shutdown and off-hours scheduling
- Access and floor loading reviewed up front

Service 03
Tower Crane Erection & Dismantling
Erecting, climbing and dismantling tower cranes with our own crews and our own assist cranes.
Tower crane work is the most sequenced lifting a site will see, and it is where split responsibility costs the most. We do it with our own people and our own assist cranes, so the erection plan, the assist crane and the crew answering for the pick all come from the same company.
That covers the initial erection, climbing as the structure rises, and the dismantle at the end of the job, including the tight downtown dismantles where the assist crane placement is the hardest part of the whole operation.
- Erection, climbing and dismantle
- Our own assist cranes and crews
- Luffing and flat top configurations
- Sequenced lift plans for each stage

Service 04
Rigging Services
Slings, spreaders, shackles and the engineering judgment behind them, for loads that are not simple hooks and eyes.
Awkward, unbalanced and oversized loads are a rigging problem before they are a crane problem. Getting the centre of gravity, the sling angles and the attachment points right is what keeps a pick controlled from the ground to the set.
We supply the rigging and the riggers, and we work the rigging out as part of the lift plan rather than sorting it out on the day with whatever is in the gang box.
- Spreader bars, slings and specialty hardware
- Centre of gravity and sling angle worked out in advance
- Awkward, unbalanced and oversized loads
- Riggers supplied with the crane

Service 05
Lift Planning
Site assessments, load charts, hydro clearances and drawn lift plans, done before anyone commits to a crane size.
A lift plan is the cheapest part of any lift and the part that decides whether the rest of it goes smoothly. We assess the site, confirm ground conditions and set-up area, check clearances to hydro and structures, run the load chart at the real radius and produce a drawn plan.
It also answers the question most projects actually have, which is what crane do we need and can it even get in here. Better to find out on a drawing than with a machine sitting in the street.
- Site assessment and access review
- Load chart analysis at working radius
- Hydro, structure and airspace clearances
- Drawn lift plans and set-up drawings

Service 06
Trucking & Hauling
Floats and trailers to get the load, the equipment and the crane to site, so transport is not a second contractor to chase.
Most lifts have a transport half. The unit has to arrive, the old one has to leave, and the crane has to be floated in and out. Splitting that across two companies is where mornings get lost.
We haul with our own equipment and schedule it against the lift, so the load shows up when the crane is ready for it instead of three hours after the crew stood down.
- Equipment and machinery hauling
- Float service for site cranes
- Transport scheduled against the lift
- One company for the move and the pick

Service 07
Shoring
Temporary support and shoring worked into the lift sequence where a structure needs holding while the work happens.
Some picks cannot happen until something else is held up. Shoring gets planned alongside the lift so the sequence, the loads and the crew are all accounted for in one scope instead of two.
Talk to us early on these. The shoring usually decides the crane position, and the crane position usually decides the schedule.
- Temporary support worked into the lift sequence
- Planned with the crane position, not after it
- Coordinated with one crew on site
- Scoped in the same conversation as the lift
